History

Hareon Solar, founded in 2004, is one of the world’s largest solar cell & module manufacturers.  Hareon Solar also develops, constructs, and operates PV power plants around the world. Hareon Solar Technology Co., Ltd. has been listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange (ticker: 600401) since 2012. Current market capitalization is about US$1 billion.

Manufacturing

Currently, Hareon Solar employs more than 6,000 employees globally. Hareon Solar manufactures silicon wafers, solar cells, and solar modules in six state-of-the-art factories, with a total annual production capacity of 2 GW of ingot casting, wafers, cells, and modules. All factories have been certified for compliance with PV Manufacturing Industry Standards by China’s MIIT. Hareon Solar’s production capacity of crystalline silicon is ranked 7th in the world, and 3rd in China. Hareon Solar has subsidiaries in Germany, Hong Kong, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, India, and South Africa. This global network allows Hareon Solar to distribute our products, provide after-sales service, and develop projects worldwide. Hareon Solar has holdings in more than 120 project companies around the world.

Power Plants

Hareon Solar began developing its PV power-plants in 2011 and has invested in more than 1.7 GW of solar power-plant projects. Of the 1.7 GW, 0.8 GW are self-investment projects, 0.7 GW are EPC projects, and 0.2 GW are joint development projects. To date, Hareon Solar has commissioned projects in the USA, England, India, China, and Japan.
